As the cost of attending college continues to rise faster than inflation and medical costs1, AmeriHealth New Jersey is helping families keep up through an arrangement with The College Tuition Benefit®.
- Employees enrolled in an AmeriHealth New Jersey plan automatically earn 2,000 in annual Tuition Rewards®, and a bonus in year four.
- One Tuition Rewards Point = $1 guaranteed minimum reduction in full tuition.
- Tuition Rewards can be used at over 400 institutions, with 90% ranked among "America's Best" by US News and World Reports in 2020.
- Employees can share the benefit with eligible relatives, including children, nieces, nephews, step-children and grandchildren, subject to certain restrictions.
This example shows how The College Tuition Benefit would help a 12 year old in the family of an AmeriHealth New Jersey member. If the student attends a SAGE Scholars consortium member college, the full tuition will be reduced by at least $17,000 spread evenly over the first four years of attendance for undergraduate study at participating colleges starting with the freshman year.
